Darlene Stratton

Mrs. Darlene Daily Stratton, aged 73, of Evans, Georgia, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Trinity Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Washington Commons in Evans, Georgia at 10 a.m. with Pastor Gary Demoor officiating. The family received friends after the service. Darlene was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, she was the beloved daughter of the late Harry Leon Daily and the late Gertrude Blauwkamp Daily. She retired as a Registered Nurse from Riverside General Hospital in 1994. Darlene will be greatly missed. Survivors include two sons, William Stratton (Reem) of Ventura, California and Lance Stratton of Riverside, California; one daughter, Andrea Frazier (Albert) of Martinez, Georgia; five grandsons, Shareef Stratton and Jawad Stratton both of Ventura, California, Lance Michael Stratton and Richard Stratton both of Moreno Valley, California, Joshua Cox of Martinez, Georgia; one granddaughter, Sarah Stratton of Moreno Valley, California; one brother, Jerry Daily of Canoga Park, California; three sisters, Dona Johnson of Tarzana, California, Lynda Lillios of Lowell, Massachusetts, Karel Monroe of Savannah, Georgia; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd Daily and Dale Daly, and two sisters, Lou Jean Kruizenga and Gwen Daily. The family would like to thank her dear friends, Dot, Mary Lou, Pat and Veronica for their friendship and a special thanks to Ella for the kindness and comfort she gave our mother.
