Danny Needham

Passed away Wednesday evening, July 20, 2016. Danny Donald Needham was born to Lawrence and Dorothy (Peck) Needham on August 28th, 1946 in Portage, Michigan. Danny loved nothing more than family. He adored his mother and step-father, Phil Edie. Danny was a man that would do anything for anybody. Danny devoted many years to the Boy Scouts of America. He loved those kids and they loved him. He was often called dad or uncle Dan by his children's friends. He enjoyed playing cards, playing practical jokes, archery, fishing, the Detroit Tigers but nothing gave him greater joy than hunting with his son, brothers, brother-in-law, and nephews. Danny is survived by a daughter, Jodi Needham of Portage, Michigan and a son, Richard (Danyelle) Needham of Jackson, Wisconsin. Also surviving are brothers, Lawrence (Laura) Needham, Terry (Mary Anne) Needham and a sister Susan (Harvey) Kuiper. Step-brothers, Jeff Edie, Mike (Bonnie) Edie, and Jack (Sharon) Edie. Grandchildren, Richard (Dayna) Needham, Ashley (Trent) Schuette, Celina Needham, Sean Ward, James Markel, Alannah Needham, Amanda Needham, and Sarah Needham. He had 3 great grand- daughters, Halie, Noel, and Quinn. Nieces and nephews Larry Needham, Lucas Needham, Patrick Needham, Nathan Kuiper, Lilly Madden, and his beloved Jennifer Grand. Danny is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Needham. Cremation has already taken place. A service will be held Saturday, August 6th, 2016 and 12:00 pm at St. Andrews Community Church, 3631 Covington Rd, Kalamazoo. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
