Christine Mae Zickus

ZICKUS - Christine Mae Zickus, age 84, went with the angels to be with Jesus on Thursday, February 12, 2009. She was an inspiration to all because she spent her life giving selflessly to others and her life on Earth did make a difference. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Zickus; son, Donald Zickus; brother, Joseph Kuete Jr.; sisters, Dorothy McClellan, Katherine DeWilde, Ann Marie Koltak, Angeline Zegunis. She is survived by her daughter, Mary and Michael Nawara; daughter-in-law, Sue Zickus; grandchildren, Donald Jr. and Bella Zickus, Jeremy Zickus, Alyson and Scott Hazelton, Andrea Nawara, Michael Nawara Jr.; great grandson, Dylan Zickus; sister, Antoinette Mercer; sisters-in-law, Nellie Zickus, Irene Zickus; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mass of the Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, February 16, 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua. Friends may meet the family at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. where a Rosary will be prayed. Christine will also lie in state at the church one hour prior to Mass.
