Charles Ronquist

Ronquist, Charles 11/19/1942 - 7/27/2022 Cooper Twp. On July 27, 2022 Charles passed away while surrounded by his loving family. Charles was born in Hancock, MI on November 19, 1942, the son of John E. and Gertrude (Burbacher) Ronquist. He served in the Coast Guard from 1961-1969, ten moved to Kalamazoo. He was a Truck Mechanic with Ryder Truck Rentals, retiring in 1998. He then went to work for TLC Warehouse, retiring in 2010. Charles is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marsha Tyler. whom he married July 8, 1972. Surviving are sons Tony & Dave & 1 daughter, Melissa Brown, of Kalamazoo,sister Shirley Fontaine of Escanaba, MI. Charles was a devoted husband and father, respected by all who knew him. Friends will be received Tuesday August 2, 2022 at the funeral home, from 12 Noon until service time of 1pm, Rev. Thomas Davenport Officiating. Burial will be in East Cooper Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Kalamazoo Gospel Mission or the Lung Assoc.
