Charlene King

Charlene King, 76 of Williamsburg, formerly of Harrison Twp. MI, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

She was born on February 2, 1947 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Anthony and Cecelia Maza.

“Char" was an Auditor for General Motors; where she retired from after 30 years of service.

She was married to her “other-half", Tim for 44 years; they were married on November 2, 1973 in Harrison Twp., MI. Charlene, Tim, & their son Bryan vacationed in Traverse City for numerous years before calling “TC” their permanent home in 1996.

Charlene enjoyed boating on Lake St. Clair and was also a member of the Sea Raiders Boat Club. She was a "Classic Car Enthusiast" and a member of several car clubs up in TC. Her favorite was her late model Chevrolet Camaro Convertible that she enjoyed driving while listening to the music with the “Volume UP"! Charlene was very fortunate to have made many wonderful friends from MI, FL, & all over the place.

Charlene is survived by their son: Bryan King, Daughter-in-law: Jessica King, Grand-daughter: Ryah King, and Grand-dog: Cooper King.

Graveside Services will be held 2:30PM, Friday, May 3, 2024 at Oakwood Catholic Cemetery, Traverse City with Rev. Father Christopher Jarvis officiating.
