Knight, Carole A. 1/21/1937 - 1/14/2021 Gobles Passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 in Stevensville with her daughters by her side. Carole was born January 21, 1937 in Kalamazoo, daughter of the late Vernell and Ruth (Parker) Evans and lived in the Gobles area for the majority of her life. Carole was a long-time faithful member of the Gobles Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She worked until retirement as a nurse serving at several healthcare facilities around the area with a focus on OB/GYN. Carole was a true homemaker. She was always willing to lend a hand or share recipes with anyone. Carole loved crafts, especially sewing, and frequently made clothing for her family. More than anything, Carole cherished time spent with her family. Surviving are her 4 daughters, Connie (Steve) Hodges of Calhoun, GA, Denise (Dr. Bert) Carrion of Bloomingdale, Michele (Larry) Seely of Gobles, and Carol (Terry) Joyce of Berrien Springs; 10 grandchildren, Jason (Jessi), Stephanie (Donnie), Allison, Chelsea, Joseph, Caitlyn, Danielle, Hannah (Grayson), Abigail and Zachary; 8 great grandchildren, Rain, Ethan, Ella, Avery, Cailey, Sam, Vincent and Violett; a sister, Linda Ewaschuk; a sister-in-law, Betsy Evans; stepsister, Nancy Gillett; stepbrothers, Ben and Ken Gillett; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 55 years, George "Hank" Knight; her parents; sister, Connie Phipps; and a brother, William Evans. The family will meet friends on Sunday, January 17th, from 9 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM at the Gobles Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Interment will follow in Kendall Cemetery.
