Carol Schipper

Schipper, Carol Ann Carol Ann Schipper, age 82, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 22, 2022. She was born October 13, 1939 in Kalamazoo to the late Wubbo and Catharina (Schiebergen) Schipper. Family played an integral role in Carol's life. She was known to be very generous in her own way. She loved genealogy and shared the books she created with her family. Carol was an avid bowler and golfer for many years. She was also a big supporter of Kalamazoo Christian Schools' sports leagues and loved the Detroit Tigers. Carol worked for The Upjohn Company for 37 years before retiring. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Rena Penny, Jean Visker, Wilma Koning, and Marilyn Musselman; and brother, Christopher Schipper. She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, great- and great-great-nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Herman Visker and Howard Koning; as well as lifelong friend, Dorothy Triezenberg. A funeral service will take place Monday, August 29, 2022 at 12:00pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services, 3926 S 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009, where the family will greet friends one-hour prior beginning at 11:00am. Carol will be laid to rest at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park North.
