Carl Levett, age 95, of Martin, passed away on October 4, 2016 at Borgess Medical Center surround by family. Carl was born on May 21, 1921 to Carl Sr. & Elizabeth Levett. Visit with his family and friends on Saturday, October 8th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Margaret’s Church; 766 S. Farmer St. Otsego, MI (694-6311). A memorial mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the same location. Carl’s family includes his life partner of 25 years, Frances “Fran” Hendrick; his children: Gregory (Barbara) Levett, Bev (Susan Wegner) Levett, Pam Gwilliams and Roland (Tish) Levett; 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline “Polly” and his son Gary Levett. Carl served his country proudly in the Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater. Carl was an avid golf who got his hole in one at age 79. Memorial donations can be made to the Martin Area Veterans through the funeral home. The family is being assisted by Life Story Funeral Home in Plainwell (269 685-5881).
