Brian T. Bailey, age 51, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday July 18, 2015 in Los Angeles, CA. Brian was born on April 1, 1964 in Racine, WI to the late Betty (nee Bailey) Carr and Joe Nelson Mclain. Brian was educated by the Racine Unified School district during grade school. While in grade school he became a member of the Kiltie Kadets mastering the trumpet. He completed the Kiltie Kadets training and became a Kilt performing numerous solo’s that would end in a standing ovation. He graduated from St. Catherine’s High School in 1982. After graduating, he left Racine to further his education in music and attended Berkley College of Music in Boston, MA. He then moved to New York and started Tarryander’s Production Company. While living in New York, He married Lael Freeman in 1987. He would migrate back to Racine to become an entrepreneur. Brian was a man of many skills and talents; music composer and producer, chef, photographer, real estate agent, writer and film maker. But most of all, Brian loved his children and family members cherishing the time he spent with them.

Brian leaves to cherish his memories his children, daughter Nia Bailey of New York, NY; Sons, Jamal Bailey of Milwaukee, WI and Kavon Bailey of Memphis, TN; Grandson, Joshua Felix of New York, NY; Sisters Tresia Carr-Sutton, Alice Baily, Carmen Mclain-Payne, Dana Mclain all of Racine, WI and Kendra Mclain of St. Louis, MO, Brothers Joseph Carr Jr., Joey Mclain, Rodney (Valerie) Mclain all of Racine, Terry (Samantha) Mclain of Milwaukee, WI and Tommie Lee, Step Mother Lula Mclain of Racine, WI and Grandmother Ann Bailey of Memphis, TN, a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. A special nephew, Elijah Mclain of Racine, WI and special friends Andrea Hughes of Los Angeles, CA and Cynthia Clark of Racine, WI.

Brian was preceded in death by his wife Lael Freeman Bailey, his mother Betty Bailey-Carr, His Father Joe Nelson Mclain, his step-father Deacon Joseph Carr Sr., His Grandparents Alice Bailey Rainey, Charles Bailey Sr., Nephew Calvin Payne and Cousin Daniel Flowers.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 31, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. Private interment will be held.
