Brian Moody

Brian Eugene Moody, age 71, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016. Brian was born in Bay City, MI on April 5, 1945, the son of the late Eugene Moody and Avis (Evans) Moody. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kalamazoo and a former member of Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption in Saginaw. He enjoyed books, music, dancing, cards, Backgammon & Cribbage, socializing with family & friends, talking politics and was an avid Detroit Lions Fan. He was a wonderful cook, who made "The Best" chili. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Carol (Newas) Moody; children, Regan (Tim) Braun and their children, Liam & Fiona, Erin (Taver) Moody-Zoet and their children August & Macklin, Brian Eugene Moody Jr. and Amy Macfarlane and their son, Kellan; sister-in-law, Kathleen Moody; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Craig Moody. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Saginaw, MI. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel.
