Terburg-Fawley , Brenda 11/2/1952 - 3/2/2023 Brenda Lee Terburg-Fawley resident of Plainwell Michigan, age 70, died 3-2-23 peacefully with loved ones at her side after a long tenacious, diligent fight with cancer. FUCK cancer. Mom would have wanted me to write that, not in disrespect, but in truth. To the most truthful, giving, loving, caring, kind, generous, grateful, magnanimous mother, sister, Auntie "B", wife, soul sister, friend, confidant, artist, social worker from space and medical, director of non-profits she created and funded, to a creator of life and a great interpreter/translator of death. Brenda was a conduit of light and love. An angel in a world of darkness. She would freely give you all she had at a detriment to herself without a second thought, especially if you really needed it. She was such an understander of life, wild child, native appreciator, travel conquer, articulation collaboration queen. Too many words and never enough space could hold the description of what was, I hate to write the word was, Brenda Terburg-Fawley born to Peter and Nancy Terburg on 11-2-52 survived by Tom Terburg brother (Diane Terburg) Sonya Terburg sister, and daughter Heather Spaulding (Jordan Spaulding) grandchildren Elliana, Elijah and Aurora Spaulding, Justin, Maddax, and Jeremiah Mickaels, many wonderful and beautiful nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and all the family she has chosen, or has chosen her. Brenda will be met by her children, brothers, parents, and many others she loved who have died before her. Her pain is over, she fought with everything she had. She left nothing untried, a woman with insurmountable character and grace. Rest in peace Mama. Memorial services will be held at Kalamazoo Missionary Church at 11 am on 3-11-2023. Brenda was directly cremated as she wished, she threw, glazed and fired her own urn, that was the kind of woman she was, was
