Bonnie Cole age 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Three Rivers Hospital. She was born October 7, 1941, the daughter of George and Mable (Pollock) LaKaff.

Bonnie’s spark for life was contagious! She loved the Detroit Lions and would never miss a game, no matter what their season record was. Portage Lake living at Kline’s Resort was more than a loving community for her, it was a secure home of family and friends who care for each other tremendously. She enjoyed her time spent on the water and many pontoon rides. She was always welcoming her friends aboard!

Bonnie is survived by her husband Maurice (Morrie) Cole of 49 years. Her children, Steve (Elizabeth) Cole, Alan (Shelly) Cole, John (Sheila) Cole, Robert (Joan) Cole and Dennis McGahan.

Grandchildren: Staci (Jeffery) Jakubal, Kendelle (Vinny) Nelson, Brittnae (Philip) Bolz, Steven, Isabella Cole, Jonny, David Cole,

Jenny (David) Stewart, and Travis McGahan.

Added in her love are her great grandchildren: Andrew Jakubal,

Bo and Ellie Nelson; Zachary, Nicholas, and Gabriel Stewart;

Gavin, Hannah, Natalie, and Amaya McGahan. Bonnie was preceded in death by her daughter Christine McGahan and grandson Michael McGahan, and her beloved sister, Gretchin Barnard.
