Beverly Sager

Beverly G. Sager, age 82, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Beverly was born in Middleville on March 16, 1933, the daughter of the late Melvin Brown and Ruth Bruce Brown. She loved being a mom and famous for her cooking and baking. Among her hobbies, she enjoyed fishing and reading. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Floyd R. Sager; five children, Barbara (Dale) Anderson of Portage, Donald (Joyce) Prescott of Tucson, AZ, Melvin Prescott of Kalamazoo, Raymond Sager of Kalamazoo and Lynette Sager of Kalamazoo; seven grandchildren, Stacy (Brian) Franklin, Kimberly Moore, Robert (Laurie) Prescott, Jennifer (Brian) Hayward, Melvin Prescott, Joshua Sager and Devon Byrd; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, Melvin Brown of Mason, Don (Eva) Brown of Dansville and Wynema (Don) West of Dansville; and many nieces and nephews. Beverly was preceded in death by two children, Robert and Russell Prescott; and one brother, Clarence Bruce. According to Beverly's wishes there will be no public visitation and a private graveside service will be held at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
