Betty Woodstock

Betty passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at the Wings Home in Allegan. She was born April 2, 1932 in Otsego the daughter of Verle and Mildred (Forsyth) Sheldon. Betty had worked at several area businesses most recently at Parker Hannifin. She also volunteered at Christian Neighbors and many area nursing homes. Betty had a strong faith and was a member of Friendship Wesleyan Church in Plainwell. She loved taking care of her family, sewing and playing cards. In 1950 she married Joseph Edwards who passed away in 1997. On July 2, 2004 she married Archie Woodstock who passed away in 2014. Surviving are her children, Joseph (Becky) Edwards of Gobles, Clifford Edwards of Virginia and Sherri (Dennis) MacEachron of Portage, 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and her siblings, Barb and Richard. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; son, David and her 8 siblings. According to her wishes cremation has taken place. Burial of ashes will take place at Mountain Home Cemetery in Otsego at a later time. Betty' s family would like to thank the 8th floor staff at Borgess Medical Center for the wonderful care that Betty received.
