Betty McCrorey

Betty McCrorey of Kalamazoo, MI. passed away December 12, 2023. Betty was born in Kalamazoo on July 18,1928, the daughter of Arthur & Myrtle (Tolsma) Jensen. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family, and over the years she volunteered her time with the Red Cross and Air Zoo. After moving to Story Point, she continued to stay active with exercise programs, meals with her friends and loved watching the Detroit Tigers. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Daniel C. McCrorey on January 14, 1987, sons: Michael & Timothy, brothers: Leonard, Don and Paul and sisters: Beverly and Irene, step brother in law: Richard Schmidt. Betty is survived by children: Thomas A. McCrorey and Linda M Pelto, Several grand, great grand and great great grandchildren, brother: Richard Jensen, several nieces & nephews. Visitation will be at St. Thomas More Student Parish, 421 Monroe St. Monday December 18, 2023 from 10 until 11am, where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am Fr. Paul Redmond Celebrant. Luncheon will immediately follow at St. Thomas More. Burial will be in Mt. Ever - Rest Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to: St. Thomas More Catholic Church or the Hospice of your choice.
