Betty Bollinger

Betty Jane (Dolton) Bollinger died July 12, 2016 at the age of 82 in Orono, ME and made the leap to Heaven. Her daughter Lori cared for her throughout her illness of autoimmune hepatic disease. Born January 19, 1934 in Lansing, MI, the third of four daughters. Betty was a competitive bridge player and the life of any party she attended. She was a lifelong Democrat, union member, and had opinions on nearly everything. We will remember her laughter, her faith, and her love of shopping for good deals. We will always miss her. Betty was predeceased by her parents Lester John Dolton and Helen Louise (Heath) Dolton, her sister Joanne Gutzki, and her former husband, Harry Bollinger. She is survived by daughters Amy (Kim) Ranger; Lori (Merlin) Francis; three grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, sisters Agnes Miller and Patricia Bell and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 9/3/2016 at a place yet to be determined.
