Betty Bell

Betty Bell, age 76, of Bloomingdale, MI Went to be with her parents on Monday, September 12, 2016 at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. She was born on February 4, 1940 in St. Ignace, MI, the daughter of Vern & Roma Blair. Betty lived in many different places as she traveled with her family and her husband who was in construction. She married her husband Wayne in 1960 and raised her 5 children until school age and then went to work at Bloomingdale Public Schools for many years. Surviving are her husband, Wayne of 55 years; her 5 children, Kimberly (Jeff) Otten, Vicki (Don) Henry, Darold Bell, Penny Bell and Cindy (Tom) Fleetwood, all of Bloomingdale; 9 grandkids; 3 great grandkids; 4 siblings, Elaine, Bob, Ed and Beverly, all from the U.P. The family will meet friends from 12-2 PM on Friday at the Bloomingdale Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home where the memorial service will be at 2:00 PM with Jim Bauer officiating. According to her wishes cremation has taken place.
