Beryl Leona Bothwell (Stephenson) was born September 22, 1924 to her loving parents John and Ellen Stephenson in Constantine, MI. She was one of 12 children born to John and Ellen. She is survived by 4 children (William, Carolyn Mainone, Cynthia Aleman and Brian). She had 11 grandchildren (Jon, Jeff, Lisa, Matthew, Rebekah, Teresa, Jordan, Hannah, Brittany, Cristiana, and John) and 24 Great Grandchildren (India, Trinity, Jasmine, Jaden, Joseph, Michael, Christopher, Lauren, Brooke, Jordance, Daniel, Elliana, Aleihna, Rheidan, Sophie, Penelope, Ruth, Amanuel, Levi, Moses, Abigail, Job, and 1 more on the way).

She graduated from Vicksburg High School in 1942. Soon after she married William Bothwell on October 3rd, 1943. William passed on April 6, 1996 after more than 52 years Of marriage.

Beryl was primarily a loving wife, mother, and homemaker; with a brief stint as a playground supervisor at Sunset Elementary School in Vicksburg.

She was characteristically caring and endearing. Debatably the world’s greatest listener. She always watched out for others. People were fond of her wherever she went. Despite any challenges that she faced, Beryl was always kind, caring, and gentle with her family.

She will greatly be missed by all.

Beryl passed away on September 15th, 2016 with family by her side.

Visitation services will begin at 11 am Monday September 19th a RDMG Lifestory Funeral Home in Vicksburg. Funeral service will follow at 12pm with burial service afterwards at Gourdneck Cemetary.

In Lieu of flowers family asks donations to be made to Vicksburg Community Schools Foundation.
