Bert Myers

On Wednesday, March 4, 2020, Bert R. Myers, doting and loving uncle, passed away at the age of 70 at his home in Bloomingdale, MI. Bert was born on November 10, 1949 in Allegan, MI to John W. Myers and Roberta (Wade) Myers-Marcincavage. After graduating Bloomingdale High School in 1967, Bert was drafted into the US Army, proudly serving his country and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. After returning home, he continued his career at Trelleborg/South Haven Rubber Co., South Haven, MI. Retiring at 62, due to health issues, Bert returned to his home town to be closer to family who loved and doted on him. Bert was preceded in death by his father, John; mother, Roberta; stepfather, Joseph Marcincavage; brother, John; and niece, Kimberly Graham. Surviving are his sisters, Jan (Bill) Montgomery of Bloomingdale, MI and Karen (Everett) Graham of Otsego, MI; nieces and nephews: Dawn, Patty (Eric), Shannon (Adam), April (Steve Boyle), Steve (Karina), Brian, Beth (Gar), Amy (Jim), Christy (Stephen), Joe (Jenny); aunt, Alice Wade of Indianapolis, IN; several great nieces, nephews and cousins.
