Bernice Menck

Bernice Diane (Gallup) Menck died Feb 17, 2020. Born to Bradford and Elanor (Bock) Gallup September 4, 1945 in Sturgis Michigan. She graduated from Portage Central High School, attended Western Michigan University, and worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Upjohn company \ Pfizer, retiring March 2006. She was a long time member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Bernice is survived by one Son, Daniel (Sharon) Menck, and two Granddaughters, Kacey and Autumn, all of Glen Burnie, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Catherine and nephew Brian Gallup. She also leaves two Brothers, Bradford (Barbara) Gallup of Oregon and Chester (Linda) Gallup of Colorado, two nieces, Jennifer Gallup (Colorado), and Sarah Gallup (California) as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Bernice was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1747 Milham Road, where a visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00pm on Monday, March 23, 2020. A memorial service will also be held at Prince of Peace on Tuesday March 24, at 11am. Memorials may be made to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. A private inurnment will occur at Mt. Ever Rest Cemetery, Kalamazoo, at a later date.
