Barbara Ailes

Barbara Louise Wilkins-Ailes age 76 of Portage, MI went to be with the lord while she was surrounded by family in her home. She Lost her 5 year battle to colon/Kidney Cancer on Friday September 6, 2024.

Barbara was born in Nashville, Tn. Her family moved to Michigan in 1951. Where she graduated from loy Norrix High School in 1966. She worked at Topps Department store and retired from Kmart. Barbs love for her family and her animals was huge. Even all the extended family that called her aunt or grandma. You could find her out on her deck enjoying her flowers and windchimes.

She is preceded in death by her parents Maynard and Louise Wilkins, her brother David Wilkins.

She is survived by Her son Lance Ailes and daughter Shelly Ailes. Her sister Patsy Falor and sister in-law Sharon Wilkins, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Her niece Jody and Jason Crocker were responsible for her at home care for the last 6 years.

A celebration of life will be held October 6, 2024 from 1pm to 3pm @ The Venue at 68.
