Aubrey A. McBride

McBride, Aubrey A. Galesburg Aubrey Allen McBride passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023, at the age of 85. He was born the second oldest of six children to the late Lamon Willard and Gladys Wilma (Capshaw) McBride in Smithville, TN on July 5, 1937. Aubrey was a hard worker all his life, working as a pump tester for Hydreco Hydraulics for over 20 years, and then transitioning to driving truck for many years for PNH Trucking, Bennett and Jet Transit. When Aubrey wasn't working, he enjoyed anything with a motor, especially cars and tractors. He married Carolyn Sue Miller on July 5, 1974, in Spencer, TN and together they shared nearly 49 years of marriage and five children. Aubrey is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn; four children, Marie Emory, Jeff (Rhonda) McBride, Theresa Neabaum, and Chris (Angel) McBride; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Glenda Winders, Sheila Austin, Steve McBride, and Stan McBride; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister; and daughter, Sherry Mansfield. A visitation will be held from 5-8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services 622 S Burdick St. Kalamazoo, MI 49007. A private graveside service will take place on Wednesday, April 26th with Minister Cliff Plummer officiating at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
