Arthur Mackenzie Gould of Galveston, TX (and previously The Villages, Florida) passed away February 20, 2021. He was born August 6, 1930 in Saginaw, Michigan. The son of Albert Fayette Gould Sr. and Leone Mackenzie Gould of Battle Creek, Michigan. Mr. Gould graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1948. He married Anita Jeannette Webster, also of Battle Creek Michigan on May 20, 1950. They were married for fifty-six years. His wife proceeded him in death in 2006. Survivors include two sons, Gregory A. Gould (Peggy) of Galveston, Texas and Gary R. Gould (Kathryn) of Charleston, South Carolina. Six Grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In 1953 Mr. Gould pursued a career in consumer packaging starting at the carton and container division of Kraft General Foods Corporation of Battle Creek whereby he moved through several in plant positions. In 1963 he joined Borden Chemical Company entering into the printing ink industry. Relocating to Kalamazoo, Michigan he sold and serviced printing inks to numerous packaging establishments. A move to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1981 permitted a more central location to serve accounts in three nearby states. Mr. Gould retired in 1993 and with his wife moved to their home in Naples, Florida to enjoy retirement. After twelve years he and his wife moved to The Villages, Florida. Through the years, Mr. Gould enjoyed playing golf, bowling, playing cards with friends, and boating in the Gulf of Mexico. Mr. Gould was a beloved grandfather and great-grandfather whose hugs will be greatly missed. A private memorial service for Mr. Gould will be held at the Kempf Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2838 Capital Ave SW, Battle Creek, MI 49015. Interment will take place in East Hickory Corners Cemetery, Hickory Corners, Michigan.
