Annajean Stoppelberg

Annajean Stoppelberg, age 86, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away peacefully Thursday morning, September 29, 2016 at MediLodge. She was born at home January 25, 1930 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of William and Lena (Menninga) Haan. On September 2, 1949, Annajean was united in marriage to Cecil Stoppelberg. She enjoyed traveling, reading, attending church, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are her three daughters, Marjory Buytendorp, Jeane Olmstead (David), Penny Stoppelberg; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her husband Cecil. No memorial service is planned. A private grave site burial will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan or a charity of one's choice.
