Anna VanDenBerg

VanDenBerg, Anna J. Kalamazoo, Michigan Anna J. VanDenBerg went to be with the Lord on September 8, 2022, at the age of 91 years old. She was born on May 1, 1931, the daughter of William and Anna (Yonkman) Napp. She was a member of Second Christian Reformed Church. Anna enjoyed going to Bible study, reading, cooking, and baking. She was employed by Upjohn and cleaned homes for people in Kalamazoo. Preceding her in death was her husband, Peter E. VanDenBerg; her son, Terry VanDenBerg; her brothers: John Napp and Garrett Napp; and her sisters: Jennie Schiedel and Wilma McNees. She is survived by her children: Dennis (Janice) VanDenBerg of Kalamazoo and Cynthia (Jeff) Beak of Mattawan; her grandchildren: Kristina (Tim) Payne, Karen (Donald) Lockhart, and Jaidan Beak; her great-grandsons Jared Hotrum and Shane Lockhart; her step-grandchildren: Jayna (Scott) VanDenBerg, Karen (Mike) Bolle, and Steven (Sheri) Pott; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; her brother, Pastor William (Jan) Napp; several in-laws, nieces and nephews. Friends may visit with her family on Monday, September 12, 2022, from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Second Christian Reformed Church, 3015 Nichols Rd. Kalamazoo, MI 49004, where her funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Fred DeYoung and Pastor John Bothof officiating. A private interment will be held at Mt.
