Ann Van De Laare

Van De Laare, Ann Louise Kalamazoo Passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Plainwell Pines Nursing Home. Age 81. She was born in Kalamazoo on July 23, 1935, the daughter of the late Murdock MacRitchie and Iris (Pellow) MacRitchie. She worked as an office administrator for several trucking companies for many years. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Darrell Van De Laare; one son, David (Brenda) Van De Laare; three grandchildren, Barb (Cory) Lopshire, Jessica (Chris) Donaldson and David "Jake" (Brittany) Van De Laare; two great-grandchildren, Connor and Cole. She was preceded in death by two sons, Paul and John Van De Laare; and one sister, Kathryn McKinney. Friends may visit with the family from 10 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 11 a.m., with a lunch reception to follow after the service. Rev. James Dyke will officiate. Private interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, South. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association .
