Ann C. Imerzel

Passed away Tuesday morning, August 18, 2020. Ann was born on May 12, 1934 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Neill and Ruth (Anderson) Currie. Prior to her retirement she was a teacher's aid in the Comstock, Parchment, and Kalamazoo Public Schools. Ann was an active member of Southern Heights Christian Church and enjoyed her flower gardens, coloring books, and doing various crafts. On June 18, 1966 she was united in marriage to her loving husband Robert Imerzel, who preceded her in death on July 6, 2004. Ann is survived by her children, Brian Imerzel, and Karen (Steve) Peck; grandchildren, Ashley (Ronnie) Barringer, Bree (Mitchel) Thomas, Jennifer Blackmun, and Stephen Peck; great-grandchildren, Ronnie, Addisyn, Amelya, Mitchel, and Ethan; and a brother, Fergus "Tad" Currie (Al Mendoza). Friends may meet the family from 5:00-7:00pm on Tuesday, August 25 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial and Cremation Services, 622 S. Burdick, Kalamazoo, MI 49007. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, August 26 at the Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery on South Westnedge Ave. Due to the Covid-19, masks are required if attending the visitation at the funeral home.
