Ann Raye (Leindecker) Baker, of Webster, MN, passed away peacefully at home with family on June 9th, 2024 after a long, hard-fought battle with dementia. Born on December 5th, 1941 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Ann graduated from Michigan State University in 1964 with a degree in Secondary English Education. In addition to teaching middle school English, Ann worked for the American Red Cross, comforting injured soldiers during the Vietnam War. Her warm smile and loving nature made an impression on everyone she met. She is remembered as kind, generous, and as an incredibly dedicated and loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maude and Raymond Leindecker, and her brother, John Leindecker. Ann leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Dennis; children, Jay (Amy), Jeffrey, and Jennifer Baker; and grandchildren, Matthew, Jake, and Kayley Baker. Private interment at Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park in Kalamazoo, Michigan on June 21st, 2024. A celebration of life will be held this summer in Minnesota.
