Andrew Janssen

Andrew S. Janssen, age 34, of Portage, MI passed on November 19, 2016, at his home. He is proceeded in death by his Great Grandpa Ed Majdan and Grandfather Louis Matico along with his pets-Chuckie, Baby and his best friend Bobbers his rabbit. He leaves behind his Mother Terri Matico-Kempker (Larry) his Dad, Daniel Janssen (Pam) three sisters; Kristina Janssen-Peters (Dan) Marissa Janssen-Amy Kempker, two brothers; Cameron Janssen and Larry Kempker Jr. His Great Grandma Millie Majdan, Grandma Jackie Matico, and Grandparents Larry and Bev Janssen. Andrew was a loving Father to his three children; Brycen Mell (Janssen) Cayden Mell-Janssen and Elyce Mell-Janssen. Andrew was full of love and life, he was very active with sports, and he played hockey and baseball and loved teaching his children all about sports and had his children involved in whatever sport they wanted to play. Andrew was a stay at home dad, maintaining his children, home and yard; he loved the outdoors and camping. His children were his world. Andrew has many Aunts and Uncles along with nieces, nephews, and many friends. He will be sadly missed and forever loved. Until we are back together hugs and kiss to our Andrew. Services for Andrew Scott Janssen will be held on Saturday December 3rd at 11:00 am at Comstock Church of Christ. Memorial contributions may be made to Andrew Janssen Children's Fund.
