Andy, age 54, lost his life unexpectedly. He leaves behind his daughter, Kenison Paige Bosma, age 20, his parents Cheryl (Gary) Stewart and Greg Bosma, step-siblings Scott and Brad MacDonald, Gary Stewart Jr., and Ann McBee, several aunts, uncles, and cousins who all will miss his fun personality. He is predeceased by his stepmother Martha L. Bosma.

He loved living on Pine Lake, where he and his former wife of 15 years, Cindi Bosma, raised Kenison. They enjoyed boating and all water sports. You had to hold on when Andy was driving the boat with Kenison often yelling "faster daddy, faster!" To him, Pine Lake was not just a body of water but a source of endless adventure and tranquility. He loved Kenison always and was so very proud of her many accomplishments. Kenison was his greatest pride.

Andy was an excellent cook, previously working in the restaurant industry. If Andy cooked a meal it was always superb. However, his chosen profession was in HVAC after earning an Associates degree from KVCC graduating with honors. He was known for his quick wit and his ability to grasp complex concepts with ease, which served him well throughout college and later in his professional life. His knowledge made him our go-to-guy when we need an opinion on purchasing or repairing anything mechanical.

We will miss his sense of humor, his handsome looks, just hanging out, eating, laughing, or watching movies with him. He was taken from us way too soon. Andy was an organ donor through Gift of Life. A memorial celebration will be held on June 29th from 1-3pm at Weatherstone Village Community Center in Kalamazoo. If desired, contributions in memory of Andy can be made to Kenison for her college education.
