Aaron Marsh

Aaron Marsh Springfield Mr. Aaron Marsh, 83, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Evergreen Senior Care & Rehab Center in Springfield. He was born December 17, 1924 in New York, New York, the son of Harry and Margueritta (Rogers) Sossin. He married Virginia A. Dougherty on September 8, 1949 in Lancaster, PA. Aaron served in the Navy during World War II as a Motor Machinist's Mate. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Swarthmore College and a Master's Degree from Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Aaron was a manager of several cities, including Battle Creek, during early 1970's. Surviving are his wife, Virginia A. Marsh of Reed City, MI; daughter, Anne (Geoffrey) Bowden of Springfield; and nephews, Eric Marsh of Lancaster, PA and Jo Marsh of Knoxville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Franklin Marsh. The burial took place at Reese Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be made to the charity of one's choice.
