David "Mike" DeVries

Age 71, passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 with his family at his side. Mike was born on December 8, 1942, the son of Andrew and Betty (Scott) DeVries. He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew and a brother, Randy. Surviving are his wife, Judy; his mother, Betty; children, Kim (Chuck) Braybrooks and Mark (Chris) DeVries; step-children, Carol Newdeck, Dennis (Jenn) Strey, Julie (Todd) Lingbeek, Sara (Jake) Mellama; grandchildren, Josh, Jeff, Jordan, Cody, Cassandra, Hailey, Dennis Jr., Kyle, Darrin, Audrey, and Millie; sisters, Donna and Dawn DeVries; brother, Damon DeVries; many nieces and nephews. Mike retired from National Automatic Sprinkler Industry in 1998. He was a member of Local 669 for 43 years. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of his life announced at a later date. He will be missed!
