Cheryl Lawrence

Cheryl S. Lawrence, 65, formerly of Kalamazoo, MI, died unexpectedly Tuesday, April 15, 2014, in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Kalamazoo, MI, Cheryl was a radiologic technologist. She was active with the Junior League of Westchester (NY) and had a passion for birds and gardening. Surviving are her son, Linwood Grant (Becky) Lawrence IV of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Linwood G. "Quint" Lawrence V and Sarah Lawrence; brother, Len Schelb, Jr. of Galesburg, MI; sister, Debbie Johnson of Eloy, AZ. Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband, Linwood G. Lawrence III; parents, Leonard and Serena (Layton) Schelb; sister, Serena Moyer. Memorial Service is 3 PM Saturday, April 19, 2014, at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road with calling one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or ASPCA.
