Marjorie Nendorf

Passed away Friday, April 11, 2014. Marjorie was born on August 22, 1919 in Hicksville, OH, the daughter of the late Maurice and Cora (Brown) Conine. She was a 1937 graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School and had been a resident of the Kalamazoo area for many years. Marjorie was employed by the Barber Coleman Company and Tinnerman Products, a division of the Eaton Corporation. On June 16, 1941, she married Donald Nendorf, who preceded her in death on October 28, 1988. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Maurice "Bud" Conine. Marjorie is survived by her sons, Jack W. Nendorf of Kalamazoo and Kurt H. (Jayne) Nendorf of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one niece and two nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 17, 2014 in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., with Rev. Don De Young officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, beginning at 10:00 AM until service time.
