William "Bill" DeBoer

DEBOER, WILLIAM "BILL" William "Bill" DeBoer, age 78, of Hudsonville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, April 11, 2014. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Joyce (VanDeWege) DeBoer; children, Gary (Cindy) DeBoer, Cheryl (Gary) Bigoness, Bill (Julie) DeBoer, and Roger (Shawn) DeBoer; 12 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren; sisters, Dena Tanis, Frances Broekhuis, Evelyn VanDussen, and Mable Bolhuis; brother, Frank (Dorothy) DeBoer; sister-in-law, Marge DeBoer; in-laws, Beverly Hassevoort, James (Virginia) VanDeWege, Jerry (Donna) VanDeWege, Bob (Greta) VanDeWege, and David (Karen) VanDeWege; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Bill worked 32 years at Reynolds Metals until their closing and 20 more years at Grand Rapids Auto Auction. The funeral service will be held 11am Monday at the Cook Memorial Chapel, (East Building) with Rev. James Evenhouse, Rev. Mark Bennink and Rev. Eric Bigoness officiating. Interment will be at Beaver Dam Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Sunday from 4-7 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, Mi (West Bldg).
