Kenneth E. Cremer

Kenneth Edward Cremer, age 64, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014, at his residence. Ken was born in Racine, January 26, 1950, the 2nd of six children of the late Richard and Joyce (Nee: Andersen) Cremer.

He graduated from Wm Horlick High School, “Class of 1968” and went on to the University of Wisconsin where he received a BS and Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering. From 1972-1974 he served in the U.S. Army stationed in Bamberg, Germany. Ken was employed by Haban Mfg for many years and retired from United Conveyor of Waukegan. Ken was a member and volunteer at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his children, Jessica Cremer of Marion, OH, Jacob Cremer (Kevin Doyle) of Minneapolis, MN; his siblings, Linda (Rich) Stearns, Dr. Judy (Paul) Wolfman, Rick Cremer, Nanci Cremer (Michael Bowman), Barbara (Charles) Angus, David Cremer (Maria Femia); his former wife, Sara Perkins (Earl Sommerfeld), many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Christopher Angus.

A memorial service will be held at the funeral home, Saturday, April 19, 2014, 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 10:00 A.M, until time of service.
