Roseanna Budell

Roseanna Clara Budell 59 of Traverse City died Wednesday, December 18, 2013.

She was born on October 20, 1954 in Nuermberg, Germany the daughter of Marshall and Joan (Snyder) Chaney while her father was in the military.

Roseanna was a nurse in the United States Navy for a short period during Vietnam War.

Roseanna retired from the United States Postal System in 1993, after 20 years of service.

She was a member of the Bay Pointe Community Church and the Women's Bible Study. Roseanna volunteered at the church and the Cherryland Humane Society She enjoyed hiking, photography and spending quality time with her grandchildren.

Roseanna is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen (Mike) Green of Traverse City; granddaughters, Andrea and Miranda Green of Traverse City; siblings, Mike Chaney of Browns Mills, New Jersey, Nina Book of Manchester, New Hampshire, Michelle Walker of Browns Mills, New Jersey and Darlene Nyberg of Lawrence, Massachusetts.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of her life was held 10am, Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Bay Pointe Community Church. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Cherryland Humane Society, 1750 Ahlberg Rd., Traverse City, Michigan 49686.
