Mary "Ernestine" H. (Hamilton) Aalbregtse, 101 of Battle Creek passed away Friday January 13, 2006 at Beadle Lake Adult Foster Care Home.
She was born on December 11, 1904 in Battle Creek to Ernest and Laura (Hale) Hamilton.
Ernestine graduated in 1923 from Battle Creek Central High School and Argubright Business College in 1927.
She married Joseph J. Aalbregtse on August 30, 1930 in Battle Creek, he preceded her in death in 1995.
She was employed as a secretary at Sherman Manufacturing. She is survived by daughters, Joan Holcombe, of Atlanta, GA and Judith Tomb, of Owensboro, KY; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Ernestine was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Hamilton, sister, Marion Barkley and Frances Butler, and a grandson Darryl Tomb.
She was a member of the First Congregational Church and its Centennial Circle.
Visitation from 12 noon to 2pm Tuesday January 17, 2006 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.
Funeral service to follow at 2pm Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Myron J. Kaufman of the First Congregational Church officiating.
Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Bellevue.
Memorial contributions may be given to First Congregational Church or Good Samaritan Hospice.
