Harold Schols

SCHOLS, HAROLD R. Harold R. Schols, age 100, of Grand Rapids passed away at Heather Hills Care Center on October 28, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife Martha Schols; siblings Kathryn Schols, Marjorie Hesselink, and Larry Schols. Harold is survived by his children Nancie (Dave) Anderson, Barbara Cornell, and Mary Schols; grandson Jeffrey Cornell; brother-in-law Gerrit Hesselink. Harold had a wonderful sense of humor and the twinkle in his eye brought joy to everyone he met. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. The family wishes to thank the staff at Heather Hills for their loving and compassionate care. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 30, from 6-8pm and Thursday, October 31, from 10-11am at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel, 2800 Burton SE. A celebration of Harold's life will be held on Thursday, October 31, at the funeral chapel at 11:00am with Pastor Mary Bouwma officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to World Renew, Christian Reformed World Missions or to a charity of your choice
