Ronald Lee Bilbrey, 49, of Bellevue, passed away December 16, 2005 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo with his family by his side.
He was born August 7, 1956 to Hoyit and Beverly (Grant) Bilbrey in Kalamazoo. Ron graduated from Bellevue High School and over the years worked at Flex N Gate in Battle Creek, Two Ducks Concrete in Bellevue, Duckworth Brothers in Battle Creek, and at General Motors in Grand Rapids.
Ron is survived by his mother, Beverly Phillips of Bellevue; sons, Ronald Bilbrey of Battle Creek, Michael Bilbrey of Georgia, Robert Bilbrey of Texas; grandchildren, Christopher, Crystal, and Justin Bilbrey; stepsister, Judith Williams of Battle Creek, and stepbrothers, David, Thomas and Kevin Phillips. He was preceded in death by his father and stepfather, Robert Phillips in December 2004.
He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing and playing golf.
Friends may call from 5 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Shaw Funeral Home, Lehman Chapel, Bellevue. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations may go to American Lung Association or to the family.
