Marilyn (Shade) Beyer

BEYER (SHADE) MARILYN K. Marilyn K. (Shade) Beyer, age 79, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2012. Marilyn was a bank teller at Old Kent Bank for 33 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lindhout, Sr., her mother, Mildred Lindhout, brother, Robert Lindhout, Jr., a daughter, Karilyn May Frisbey, and granddaughter, Karrie Jo Shade. Surviving are her husband, David Beyer; her daughters, Victoria (Ron) Sterkenburg, Susan Zwiers (Peter Stougaard), Michele Shade; step-sons, Jeff (Kim) Beyer, Jamie (Karen) Beyer; grandchildren, Tammy Lise, Kris (Kelli) Zwiers, Eric Frisbey; eight step-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Paul (Donna) Beyer. The Funeral Service will be held 11 am Tuesday, May 22, at Stroo Funeral Home, with Mr. Richard Karelse officiating. Interment in North Holland Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Marilyn may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
