Beverly Knowlton

Died Thursday evening April 5, 2012 at her residence. Beverly was born January 13, 1930 in South Bend, Indiana a daughter of Carl and Ruth (Kline) Steininger. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed with Mead Products for 17 years, retiring in 1995. Beverly was also involved with the Girl Scouts and Boy Scout for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leslie "Les" Knowlton on August 4, 2003; and her sister, Joan Nash. She is survived by 2 children, Michael (Jennaway) Knowlton of Panama City, FL and Cathryn "Cathy" Knowlton-Church of Portage; 5 grandchildren, Nicole (Joe Gapinski), Daniel (Miranda) Church, and William Church, and Amelia (Trevor) Hardy and Maverick Knowlton; a great-grandchild, Elijah Church; and several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 1 o'clock Wednesday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Visitation will be

4-8pm Tuesday. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest South
