Janet (Mallette) Kohn

KOHN (MALLETTE) Janet J. Kohn, age 84 passed away very suddenly on December 18, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty three years Robert, her parents Claude and Florence Mallette, two brothers Roger and Warren, sister Marjorye Overkleeft, daughter Leslie's life partner Martha VanderEyk. Weeks later, her oldest brother George died January 13, 2012. Janet graduated from Comstock Park High School, and worked for Coles Dry Cleaners, Michigan Bulb and would most like to be remembered for her many years of service as a crossing guard for the Kenowa Hills School System at Walker Station, and was the First Crossing Guard deputized by the Kent County Sheriff's Dept. Janet is survived by daughter Leslie Kohn, son Robert (Barb) Kohn, grandchildren Robert Jr., Tracy (Mike) De Puydt, great-grandchildren Travis, Christian, Caden, and Malea Kohn. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Chapel, 3525 Remembrance Rd. where family and friends will receive visitors one hour prior to the Service. In keeping with Janets wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment in the Sping beside her husband Robert at Rosedale Memorial Park.
