Barbara Louise Bauer, age 61, of Holland, passed away at her home on Monday, February 6, 2012.
Barb was raised in Lansing, Illinois and graduated from Hope College in 1972. She worked for Challenge Manufacturing in Holland as a purchasing agent.
Barb is survived by her devoted husband of 38 years, Bill Bauer; children, BJ Bauer and fiancée, Michele Stone of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Rachel Bauer of New Lenox, Illinois; brother, Kevin and Bonnie Kooy of Graham, North Carolina; sisters and brothers-in-law, Chris and Ron Waltz Whitmore Lake, Sue Bauer of Livonia; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2012, at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St. in Holland. Rev. Tim De Jonge will officiate. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5- 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at Lakeshore Memorial Services.
Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland or to The American Cancer Society.
