Dorothea Fraser

FRASER, MRS. DOROTHEA A. Grand Rapids, MI (Formerly of North Muskegon, Muskegon, MI and Aurora, IL Mrs. Dorothea Andersen Fraser, age 92, passed away February 1, 2012 in Grand Rapids, MI. Mrs. Fraser was born July 25, 1919 to Andreas Ludvig Andersen and Laurine Mathilda (Larsen) Andersen in Aurora, IL. She married Robert Joseph Fraser of Aurora, IL in 1944. He passed away in 1990. For several years Mrs. Fraser was employed as a librarian assistant for Orchard View Schools. She was active as a contributor to the Lakeshore Museum Center, volunteer for the Hackley Art Museum, and enjoyed sewing, needlework, gardening and travel. She also enjoyed the company of a diverse circle of neighbors and friends, and especially her three grandsons. Mrs. Fraser is survived by her sister Edith Young, of New Brighton, MN and son Andrew D. (Mary Susan) Fraser of Afton, MN. A sister, Jean, preceded Mrs. Fraser in death. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at a later date.
