William Reits Sr.

REITS, MR. WILLIAM J. Byron Center Formerly of Paw Paw William J. Reits, Sr., age 84, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, whom he loved and served for many years, on Monday, February 6, 2012. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Bill owned and operated Reits Roller Rink, Reits Flea Market, and Cathy's Kitchen for 21 years, retiring in 1987, as well as working in maintenance at Duo-Tang Products for 20 years before retiring in 1980. Surviving are his wife, Catherine; his children, Deborah (Mark) Mills, William (Nancy) Reits, Jr.; his grandchildren, Amanda (Randy) Mlejnek, Rev. Jarrod (Michelle) Mills, Chelsea Reits, Caleb Reits, Colby Reits; and great-grandchildren, Mark, Joshua, and Mary Mlejnek. The Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, at Heritage Baptist Church, 1570 60th St. SE, with Pastor E.H. "Bo" Moore and Bill's grandson, Pastor Jarrod Mills, officiating. Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Paw Paw. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Spectrum Health Hospice or Mel Trotter Ministries.
