John Corey

COREY, MR. JOHN B. Grand Rapids Mr. John B. Corey, aged 78, died peacefully Monday February 6, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife Annie Corey (Johnson). Surviving are his four children, James Corey, Michael (Barb) Corey, David (Maria) Corey, Carol (Michael) Dornbush; ten grandchildren , Jenny, "JD", Mary, Kyle, Andy, Joey, Angela, Johnny and Josh Corey, Michael J. (Jessica) Dornbush; two great-grandchildren, Xander and Ella Dornbush; sisters, Joan (Jerry) Moore, Barbara Striker, Miriam Ferri. John was the proprietor of Corey's Barber Shop and member of The West Fulton Merchant's Association and for many years a leader in the South Western Little League. A Mass of Christian Burial and Committal Service will be celebrated Thursday 11 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church where he will repose one hour to the Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. His family will receive visitors Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers, Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd. where the Rosary Service will be held Wednesday 7 pm. Memorial contributions to Western Little League or St. Anthony of Padua Church will be appreciated.
