BURD, GREGORY ALLAN Gregory Allan Burd Jr., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 3, 2012. Greg was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Allan Burd Sr. Greg will be greatly missed by mother, Kathryn (Ondersma); two daughters, Jazmine Jean Marie and Marcella Thelma Ann; a special young man, Adrian Foster, who called Greg dad; and his best friend forever, Shaun Grinage and all who knew him. Greg loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Greg never graduated from high school, but he worked his way up the ladder and became a supervisor for Trees, Inc. Pray the Lord will lift Greg into His arms and hold him tight. Funeral services for Greg will be held Thursday at 1:00 pm at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Chapel (Kentwood), 4646 Kalamazoo SE with Rev. Al Strouse and Rev Royal Bailard officiating. Interment in Alaska Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home Wednesday 4-7 pm and Thursday from 12 noon until the time of service.
