Obituary
WARNER, ERMA It is the end of an era, a legend is gone. When St. Peter got to work this morning, Erma was already there, opening the pearly gates, arranging the files and getting everyone organized. Erma Warner, aged 86, of Caledonia went to be with her Lord on Friday, February 3, 2012. She was preceded in death by her dear husband, Archie; son, Bob; brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Ruby Harder; and brother-in-law, Ken Warner. She will be sadly missed by her children, Linda (David) Rodger, Archie (Kathy) Warner; grandchildren, Christy (Greg) Huizen, Kelly (Gene) LaCroix, Jonci (Kevin) Slosser, Archie John (KaiteLyn) Warner; great grandchildren, Mitchel and Nikolas Huizen, Brayden and Justin LaCroix, Mya and Max Slosser; sisters, Maxine Warner and Ray Dawson; sister-in-law, Ellen Warner; many nieces and nephews and untold numbers of friends and customers. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. Erma Ione Warner was born May 20, 1925 to Henry and Myrtle Mae Harder. She graduated from Godwin Heights as valedictorian and a National Honor Society member. She married Archie Harold Warner on March 3, 1945. She helped found Harder and Warner Nursery and was instrumental in the operational activities, working in the office with her family every day until the day she died. A private family celebration will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent online at www.mkdfuneralhome.com.
