Margaret "Maggie" McDonald

MC DONALD, MRS. MARGARET LAURIE Grand Rapids Mrs. Margaret Laurie McDonald "Maggie", aged 58, of Grand Rapids passed away suddenly Wednesday, February 1, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale E. McDonald; and by her parents, Lawrence and Dorothy (Biel) Jackson. Surviving are four brothers, Lawrence (Becky) Jackson, Robert (Marlene) Jackson, Raymond (Sharen) Jackson, Stuart (Debbie) Jackson; and 12 nieces and nephews. Maggie was born on February 18, 1953 in Baltimore, MD, and came to Grand Rapids in 1974. She was a member of First Church United Methodist, 207 E. Fulton, where memorial services will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday February 8th with her pastor Rev. Gary Haller officiating. Her family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial has taken place at Rosedale Memorial Park. Maggie's family gives thanks to the staff and other residents of Enduring Life AFC, to the Thresholds social workers that have assisted Maggie in her daily living and to her many friends who accepted her for the blessing that she was.
